I can't believe it's already 2010, it seems like just yesterday we were entering the new millennium. I remember as a child being horrified when I calculated that I'd be 46 in 2000 and here I am at 56, feeling like I'm just starting to get to know myself and learn what life's about.
One of the most meaningful lessons I'm learning is the value of doing what I love, and I've found true love in writing. When I started sending out my updates three years ago they were designed to call attention to my coaching business, but my work quickly took on a life of its own. As people started replying I realized that by sharing what was happening in my life I was helping others process their own experiences.
So I've decided to fully commit and have created a blog. It's called The Easy Place and is about staying grounded and calm no matter what's going on in our lives. It contains stories of my struggles, big and small, as I work to find my own "easy place."
And one of the greatest things about blogging is that it's not a one way street - there's space for you to share your stories, post your questions, and let me know what's going on in your life. So please stop by and check it out! You can even subscribe and get my weekly posts delivered right to your email.
If you'd like to be removed from my mailing list, please send an email to melinda@melindaelliottcoaching.com with the word “Remove” in the subject line.
